ArtCenter Manatee is Calling All Military Veteran Artists

The ArtCenter Manatee is looking for Veteran artists’ and their families who are interested in painting for a special community project; The Legacy of Valor. ArtCenter Manatee and our partner MOTS’ (Manasota Operation Troop Support) project is a “Freedom Mural”; creates an opportunity for veterans and their families to come together and tell their story of Valor, Honor and Bravery through painting 4” canvases to collectively come together forming the mural. Their stories will initiate conversations and camaraderie while honoring their contribution to our freedom.
I know we have many artists in our midst! Start sharing this opportunity with your veteran friends at your VFW, American Legion, Marine Corps League and anywhere else you congregate.  There will be veterans from Manasota Operation Troop Support participating, so call me at (941)782-0748 with any questions.
