The Village: Music Fest coming March 1st in the Village of the Arts

The Artist's Guild of Manatee and VMI Media Group, creators of The Village: Magazine of the Arts are partnering to bring you The Village: Music Fest.

The Artist’s Guild of Manatee and VMI Media Group, creators of The Village: Magazine of the Arts are partnering to bring you The Village: Music Fest.

Twenty bands/musicians will cover the neighborhood in music at various galleries and our center green, during our first Friday art walk on March 1st from 5:30pm-9:30pm. Local bands & musicians include Brazos the Cat, Us Entangled, Steve Arvey, Cats in the Basement, Dropin Pickups, The New Graves, Elephant in the Room and more. Our never ending goal is to continue to make this area known for the creatives who live in and work in our community all year round. All of the music is local and the art is fresh.

The Distillery Tavern, JJ Taylor and Cigar City Brewery have donated craft beer for the event. Proceeds support the Artists Guild of Manatee, and a portion will go to the artists for donating their time. While that is going on inside, the Village of the Arts galleries will be featuring the premium dishes inside.
