WCWC Honoring Humanitarian Women in Manatee County

The GFWC/West
Coast Woman’s Club of Manatee County is presenting a program for Women’s
History Month called Honoring Humanitarian Women in Manatee County on April 27,
2014 at 2pm -4:30pm at Hope Lutheran Church, located at 4635 26th St
West in Bradenton.  The speakers will be Cathy
Slusser of Manatee Historical Society, Lieutenant Colonel Carol Barkalow
retired military, Former Mayor Bill Evers of FELT, and Clara Parker of West
Coast Woman’s Club.  The event will also
provide entertainment by Bonnie Gray Productions, and Vintage Clothing and Hats
by ClaraBelle’s. Appetizers, beverages, silent auction, and door prizes will be
provided for $10 for a single person and $15 for a couple, $40 for a table of
6, and $60 for a table of 8. Donations will benefit FELT, Feeding Empty Tummies,

and A Cup of Joe for a Joe and Selah Freedom (Human Sex Trafficking) Please

The nonprofit
organization promotes educational programs, civic activities, volunteer
opportunities, social networking, community awareness, women’s health issues,
and confidence building for women. WCWC is open to men who support women’s
interest.
