Veterans and their Families Jobs and Services Fair

Goodwill Manasota encourages military members to attend the Veterans and their Families Jobs and Services Fair on September 7 at Ed Smith Stadium. More than 50 employers and service organizations will be in attendance and will be looking to hire qualified applicants during this FREE event.

The key focus of this event will be companies actively hiring veterans.  We will also host community organizations that provide veteran services. There will also be workshops organized by the Chase Bank prior to the event that will cover interview techniques.  Participants will be critiqued on appearance, resume and interview skills.  They will receive feedback from the Chase Bank team on their strengths and areas where they may need more practice.

These free workshops are designed to address the needs of our veterans and their families in preparation of the Job & Services Fair. Learn how to prepare for interviews, dress for success, answer questions, explain your work history, and follow up after an interview. Practice your new skills during mock interviews. Participants will receive feedback from the Chase Bank team on their strengths and areas where they may need more practice. Goodwill will provide refreshments.
