he Friends of the Island Branch Library are pleased to welcome Ron McCarty, Curator and Keeper of the Ringling Museum's iconic Ca 'd 'Zan. As a 30-year staff member in the museum’s Curatorial Department, McCarty is uniquely qualified to present a fascinating talk about the beautiful Venetian-Gothic palace, Ca 'd 'Zan (House of John), that overlooks Sarasota Bay.
The program, part of the Alice Taylor Reed Lecture Series, is free. No prior registration is necessary.
