Preschool Science Program and Craft: Water Displacement--Sink or Float
The Manatee County Central Library is pleased to announce a new monthly educational "S.T.E.A.M." program for children ages 3 and up. "S.T.E.A.M." is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
Each month will feature a basic age-appropriate scientific experiment followed by a fun craft based upon that month's theme. The programs will be held one Thursday each month from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m.

· September 4: Big Dig: Hydraulics - Dump Trucks
· October 2: Let’s Explore: Animal or Plant - Jellyfish
· November 6: Shapes/Sequencing/Patterns: Shape Garlands
All of the S.T.E.A.M. programs are free and open to all with seating available on a first come, first serve basis. Advance registration is not required.
