Manatee Audubon -- Felts Audubon Preserve OPEN HOUSE & Bird Walk

   To support our dedication to the conservation education and enjoyment of birdwatching by the general public. Manatee County Audubon Society hosts an Open House at Felts Audubon Preserve in Palmetto on the first Saturday of each month (Oct. - April).  Visitors and members are welcome to join in learning more about the various habitats different species prefer between the hours of 8:00 AM and Noon.  
    A naturalist leads a bird walk starting at 9:30 a.m. during these Open House events. Participants will learn more about the key identification characteristics of different birds while enjoying the great outdoors.
    Photography blinds have been provided at the feeders.  Photographers, please use these blinds when there are viewers in the main bird blind.  
   Bring a friend, and join us each month at these Open House events.
