Legacy of Valor Celebration Luncheon

Legacy of Valor Celebration Luncheon

The Junior Leagues of Sarasota and
Manatee counties are hosting the Legacy of Valor Celebration Luncheon on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Dolphin Aviation, as part of the Legacy of Valor Campaign, which honors the service and sacrifice of veterans and their families. The keynote speaker at the event will be Keni Thomas, a decorated combat veteran of the elite 75th U.S. Army Ranger Rgt special operations unit.

Thomas has worked as a military analyst and author and now spends his time as a
singer, songwriter and performer.  He will recount his personal

experiences in the chaotic 1993 Battle of Mogadishu and will share a unique set
of leadership lessons and an inspired view of our greater purpose.

The Legacy of Valor campaign, which was created by The Patterson Foundation, consists of a mosaic of community-driven partnerships that will educate, build enthusiasm and focus the community to recognize the service  and sacrifice of all veterans and their families. The Patterson Foundation hopes every person in the community will take part in the Legacy of Valor campaign through his or her time, talent or treasure.
