"Geriatric Medicine: The Essentials." Free Lecture at Westminister Tower and Shores

Westminster Tower and Shores, an active
retirement community in downtown Bradenton, presents a 2014 lecture series in
partnership with the Lifelong Learning Academy, University of South Florida,
Sarasota-Manatee. The series continues with  “Geriatric Medicine: The Essentials,” with Albert Tripodi, M.D., February 4, 3 p.m.  Dr. Tripodi discusses the value of
preventative medicine—and how to make it a viable part of everyone’s health
plan. Dr. Tripodi is a board-certified internist and geriatrician and the
medical director at the Senior Friendship Center’s Rubin Center for Healthy
Aging in Sarasota. He was the medical director of two extended-care facilities
in Syracuse, NY.  The lecture is
free and open to the public.
Ample
free parking is available and can be found by following the signs. On-campus
transportation from parking to the location of the lectures is free.
Westminster Tower and Shores is located at 1700 3rd Avenue West in Bradenton.
