FLORIDA’S FIRST ENERGY-EFFICIENT HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN PATCH TAKEOVER!

There’s
nothing scarier than wasting electricity! That’s why this Halloween, Miami
residents will get a treat instead of a trick when FPL partners
with Boys
& Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade to give away 250 pumpkins and gift bags filled with LED and safety
goodies for an energy efficient and safe holiday.

At the family-friendly event, FPL will also share tips to help customers fight energy
“phantoms,” as well as provide pumpkin painting and children’s activities. The
pumpkins and goodie bags will be distributed on a first-come, first-served
basis and supplies are limited to the first 250 – one per family.

Boys
& Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade will also receive its own Halloween treat, as
FPL outfits the pumpkin patch tent with energy-efficient lighting. With 100 percent of the proceeds
from each sale going towards the programs provided by Boys & Girls Clubs to
more than 10,000 children in Miami-Dade County.
