Heroes of the Night Sky

Sharing the day with Mana-Con Comics Convention, a special event at the downtown branch library, the Museum is celebrating our own kind of superheroes, Heroes of the Night Sky! Learn about the heroes and monsters of the past in a live shadow puppet show Star Stories: Greek Myths with local storyteller Katie Adams and her Make Believe Theater. Watch and listen as Katie creates pictures from constellations of stars and tells the stories of the ancient myths. Then, create handheld glow-in-the-dark constellation maps and join Museum astronomers for a laser guided tour of the night skies out along River walk.  Half price after 4pm. $8 Adults, $6 Kids, Members are free.
