Bradenton, FL (February 17, 2013) – The Bradentucky Bombers, Manatee County’s flat track women’s roller derby team, will bout against Orlando Area Derby Revolution Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Astro Skate & Fun Center in Bradenton (3611 3rd Street West ). Orlando Area Derby Revolution is an all-female, skater run and operated roller derby league from Orlando, Florida.

Since the league’s inception in 2006, the Bradentucky Bombers have been dedicated to serving the community by donating items or funds to local organizations and embodying their slogan “Strong Women Rolling for a Strong Community.” For this game, a portion of the raffle proceeds will be donated to the Larry King Cardiac Foundation.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased from:

Children 10 years old and under receive free admission. All Bradentucky Bombers events are family-friendly and spectators of all ages are welcome. Seating is limited. It is strongly suggested that you bring a chair for trackside seating.

The Bradentucky Bombers is an all-female flat track roller derby league that sponsors sportswomanship and athleticism. The Bombers promote a strong, positive, athletic female image and deeply believe in their slogan "Strong Women Rolling for a Strong Community." Comprised of women from all walks of life, they are a charitable organization with the main focus being the empowerment of women and the protection of children.
