Community Corner

8th Annual Sustainable Communities Workshop

"Investing in Our Future"

Individuals, businesses, organizations, government agencies, and institutions will gather to learn and share solutions for a renewable and sustainable community.

National experts and local leaders will share insights on both innovative practices for sustainability as well as collaborative ventures that maximize the benefits to the community and the businesses involved.  Focal areas include alternative financing and economic development opportunities, sustainable transportation and eco-tourism.

Working together we can insure an economically viable, environmentally sound and socially responsible community and local economy both now and in the future.  We invite you to add your voice to the conversation.

The Dec 18 workshop will be held at the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida Event and Conference Center, 4740 Cattleman Rd, Sarasota FL 34233 from 8 am - 4:30 pm. $30.00 includes continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon break. Student rate $20.00.
