Flight Delays at Sarasota-Bradenton Airport

Significant flight delays at the Florida airport are due to snowy weather elsewhere in the nation.

Snowy weather in the Northeast and West is hampering air traffic from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.

About 40 percent of commercial flights from SRQ were late taking off Wednesday afternoon, according to FlightView.com. Another 20 percent were "very late" with scheduled departures. Some incoming flights are late but the problem is not as severe.
