Once a year, kosher dieters can satisfy their gourmet cravings with Kosher food at the Polo Grill in Lakewood Ranch at Chabad’s Annual Gala Auction & Cocktail party.

Tommy and Jaymie Klauber, owners of Fete Catering and The Polo Grill, along with their dedicated team, extend themselves to turn the kitchen kosher for this event, according to strict Kosher dietary.  It’s a long process, one that involves deep cleaning, blow torching kitchen equipment, dunking dishes into boiling water, and keeping kosher food completely separate.

This is the fifth year that Chabad has held its Gala Auction and Cocktail Party to help raise funds for its thriving new Chabad House on Lorraine Road in Lakewood Ranch.

“It’s a wonderful event, one that unites the community together,” said Rabbi Mendy Bukiet, spiritual leader of Chabad of Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch. “From over 200 local business owners, who donate to the auction to the generous participants of the actual auction, all are united in helping to support Chabad in our important work. We are so grateful for the community’s continuous support.”

Chabad aims to bring the message of unconditional love to all the children, teens, adults and elderly in Manatee community.

“We called this event “Growing Together” because Chabad’s accomplishments and growth are due to our work with this fantastic community.  We plan to continue “Growing Together,” in our goals of providing high quality social, educational, and cultural services to the community,” Bukiet said.

From a tiny seedling, Chabad has grown to what it is today, a vibrant tree spreading the fruits of Judaism and love throughout Manatee County.  This tree analogy will be in full display at the auction with trees, plants, and greenery reinforcing the “Growing Together” theme.

The "Growing Together" gala will take place at the Fete Catering and Polo Grill located on 10670 Boardwalk Loop on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 pm. To learn more, RSVP, become a sponsor, or purchase tickets for $50, (which includes complimentary mystery raffle ticket and a chance to win two free tickets to Israel) please view the auction website: www.chabadofbradenton.com
