For a limited time, customers of Rice’s Appliance & TV will be rewarded with a Michael’s Wine Cellar gift card valued up to $200 when purchasing a qualified wine storage refrigerator.

“As we plan our seasonal promotions, we consistently look to forge partnerships with independent, community-minded organizations,” said John Rice, Sr., of Rice’s Appliance & TV. “It is particularly fitting that our family-run businesses have partnered together in advance of ‘Small Business Saturday’ this year.”

Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the campaign will be celebrated on November 30, 2013.

“Although we appreciate the attention Small Business Saturday brings to the importance of supporting locally-owned and operated businesses, what’s so vital to our community is the commitment to shopping local, independent businesses year-round,” said Michael Klauber, co-proprietor of Michael’s Wine Cellar. “I’ve purchased appliances personally from the Rice family over the years, and I’m privileged to have called their family clients as well.”

Rice’s carries several leading wine cooler brands, including GE Monogram, Marvel and Sub-zero, in under-counter and freestanding options. A wine cooler keeps wine at optimum temperature, and some models offer dual temperature zone options for storing both red and white wines. The reward certificate to Michael’s Wine Cellar is available in values of $100 and $200, depending upon qualified models, and will allow clients the opportunity to stock-up on a wide range of international wines from around the world.

“Even in our wine shop, a vast majority of the wines we feature originate from historic, family-operated wineries where I have a relationship with the families and individuals who grow the grapes and bottle these fine wines. In fact, I often joke that placing your family name on a bottle—or business—provides an extra edge, a personal guarantee guests can take comfort in and always count on.”

This Rice’s Appliance & TV’s wine cooler offer will run through the holidays, and ends December 31, 2013.
