Pittsburgh Paper Gives Best Picks of Bradenton, Anna Maria

Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle provided his picks to The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's travel expert. Are the choices right on with what locals would say? Weigh in.

If it's February, that means travel pieces on Bradenton to get Pittsburgh Pirates fan ready for Spring Training.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review published a piece Saturday telling folks that "Baseball isn't the only game in town in Bradenton, Fla."

But if you are here for baseball, Spring Training starts Tuesday when pitchers and catchers report to Pirate City and the full team shows up Friday to work out. The first home game is against the Atlanta Braves on Feb. 24
