Manatee County Schools: Start and Ending Times

Superintendent Rick Mills wants to remind parents that start and end times for Manatee District schools are the same as last year, with the exception of 7 Wednesdays during the year which have been set aside as Modified Instructional Days.

On those seven dates, spread throughout the school year, the school day will be shortened for students, so that the Deputy Superintendent of Instructional Services and the Executive Directors of Elementary, Middle and High Schools can provide differentiated support for schools based on data analysis and teachers can participate in professional learning activities.
