Orban’s Annual Poinsettia Drive-Thru Kick's Off Christmas Season

More than 100,000 poinsettias will be on display during today's drive-thru and sale.

The begining of the Christmas season comes alive today as Manatee County residents get their once-a-year tour of Orban's 30-acre nursery with more than 100,000 poinsettias in bloom.

Today marks the 22nd anniversary of Orban's open house with its annual poinsettia sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The open house and sale at 9601 Ninth Ave. N.W. benefits Southeastern Guide Dogs.

Last year Southeaster named a guide dog in Orban's honor in recognition of the funds they raised.
