Pull out that sunscreen and get ready for some rays.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service’s Ruskin office say the Bradenton/Sarasota area is in for a rather nice Labor Day weekend.

“We’re looking at mostly sunny throughout the weekend with a 20 to 30 percent chance of afternoon rain,” explained meteorologist Rodney Wynn. “It should be a pretty nice weekend.”

Wynn said Tampa Bay will see highs in the low 90s and lows in the mid-70s throughout the weekend.
