This week's adoptable cat is Leo, a gray and black tiger.
Leo is a one-and-a-half year old neutered male who loves to snuggle on a lap. He has been with Manatee County Animal Services since June 5 when he was picked up as a stray. You can visit Leo at the Manatee County Animal Services downtown adoption center this week. The downtown center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
July is a great month to adopt a cat. All adoptions are $35 in July. This is a huge savings to the public with $55 off dogs and $35 off cats. Adoptions at Manatee County Animal Services include spay/neuter, vaccinations, health check, microchip and current rabies certificate/tag. This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
