Charity Bar Night at Polo Grill & Bar a Success!
The Polo Grill & Bar hosted a Charity Bar Night for the Humane Society of Manatee County on Thursday, July 11th complete with special pet themed cocktails such as the Salty Chihuahua and the Cat’s Meow. Thanks to our wonderful bartenders, Xtavia Bailey, John Neal, David Fink and Dr. Lee Rangel this event was a huge success!!! The grand total in tips earned was $1,060!!!!!!!!
The Manatee and Sarasota Young Professionals, who were also meeting at the Polo Grill that evening, are largely responsible for the success of this event.
As a special attraction, Dr. Lee Rangel from Thorassic Park, donated a Goddess Night Out to be raffled, which included one hour massages, wine and cheese for six ladies at his office. The Goddess Night Out raffle raised $600.

We also collected a bin full of human and pet food for the Tech House Summer Harvest Food Drive, coordinated by Maureen Flaherty. She also brought Eden (dog) who was our HSMC greeter.
We owe a huge thanks to Polo Grill & Bar for all their hard work. Their bartenders were working hard and it was so generous of them to give up their tips for the Humane Society of Manatee County!
