Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School Visited by MOSI’s Mad Scientist

The Intermediate School students at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School were entertained and educated on March 21, 2014 with a visit from MOSI’s Ele-Mental Road Show, featuring a mad scientist bent on controlling science elements, to the delight of the students.

“We are very fortunate to be an independent school because our students with the MOSI scientists on campus, our students had the unique opportunities to learn and discover about elements and science in a whole new way,” said Dr. Janet Pullen, Head of School at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School. “The purpose of this visit was to connect to the STEaM curriculum which incorporates science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, with creativity to our students,” said Dr. Pullen.

The Ele-Mental Road Show, performed by MOSI staff, revolves around a plot where one of MOSI’s mad scientists escapes and tries to prove their prowess in controlling some of the most impressive elements in science, including electricity and fireballs.
