ONE Sarasota Realty Group has added two new Realtors to its team – Matt Drews and Rafael Gonzalez.
Gonzalez joins ONE Sarasota Realty Group after an accomplished 50-year career as a restaurateur in Sarasota. “I tried to retire after selling our JRyans restaurants three years ago, but that just didn’t work out,” he jokes. Gonzalez joins his wife Debbie, one of the founders of ONE Sarasota Realty, as a new addition to their growing team. “I hope to use my extensive knowledge and background in the restaurant business to assist buyers and sellers in this market segment with their real estate needs,” he said.
Matt Drews, a Sarasota native, left Sarasota for 10 years to pursue a professional baseball career, playing for the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers. He returned home to raise a family and enter this new stage of his career, real estate. “I look forward to helping grow the business, and working on deals with the other established Realtors on this team. I am thrilled to have already brokered a deal together with Rafael (Gonzalez) earlier this month, in which we separately represented the buyers and the seller of El Adobe,” said Drews.
