Bayside Pet Resort & Spa Opens Second Location – The Bayside Pet Spa, Near Lakewood Ranch
The Bayside Pet Resort and Spa is opening a second location near Lakewood Ranch, which will offer upscale pet daycare and spa services. The new Bayside Pet Spa will host a grand opening event on Wednesday December 18, 2013 from 4pm – 6pm, featuring a ribbon cutting with the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce and an Open House. At 4:30pm Santa will arrive by Harley motorcycle with seven Maltese elves in his sidecar, to kick off the grand opening celebration, located at 8405 Honore Avenue, University Park, FL.
“The Bayside Pet Spa will take our services to a new level,” said Bob Huff, founder and owner of The Bayside Pet Resort & Spa. “The Pet Spa is one of the most unique pet spa concepts in the country in terms of design and atmosphere. We have the finest staff comprised of highly trained groomers, pet pals and reservationists who have all been in training at The Bayside Pet Resort for months,” he said.
The Bayside Pet Spa will feature an indoor playroom called the Parisian Park, complete with a walk under the Eiffel Tower climbing area, an outdoor elimination area, and 26 private patio suites for dogs. Spa services will include massage, blueberry facials, manicures and pet-i-cures, grooming, aromatherapy, mud treatments and a K9 treadmill.
“We could not be more excited about expanding our services with a new location in this fast growing area of Manatee County,” said Marilee Namaka, general manager for The Bayside Pet Resort & Spa. “We envision visitors to the new mall opening next year dropping off their pets for pampering spa services while they shop, or go eat in one of the nearby restaurants,” she said. Clients looking for longer lodging stays for their pets can drop them off for spa treatments at the University Park location, and transportation will be available to the larger resort on US 41.

The Bayside Pet Resort & Spa opened in June of 2012.
