More About Golden Apple Dinner Theatre
A downtown Sarasota mainstay, the Golden Apple Dinner Theatre pioneered the live dinner theatre concept nearly 40 years ago. Today, it is the longest running theatre of its kind in the United States. Running six to eight shows a year for an average of eight-week runs, the modest-sized auditorium/dining room manages to seat over 260 guests while providing everyone a view of the action on stage. On Friday nights it offers free "drag queen bingo," which has proven so popular that sometimes customers have had to be turned away, so be sure to come early.
