More About Coquina Gulfside Park
Coquina Gulfside Park is located on Anna Maria Island, one mile south of Cortez Road West in Bradenton Beach. There are multiple picnic tables in the shade, plus the Coquina Trailside Pavilion, which includes four tables, seating for 42 and one small grill, and is available for rent for $65 plus tax by calling 941-742-5923.
The park also includes the Coquina Gulfside trail, a 1.5-mile stretch used for walking, jogging and biking; a snack bar; a volleyball net; and multiple beach access points and stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. There are six lifeguard towers, staffed from 9am - 7pm in the spring and summer, and 9am - 5pm in the fall and winter. Anglers can find a spot along the southern tip of Anna Maria Island along the beach or off the Longboat Pass Bridge. There is also a Island Trolley stop at the park.
