More About Carmel Café & Wine Bar
Located in University Park and one of four locations throughout Florida, Carmel Café & Wine Bar is a neighborhood restaurant which combines and draws inspiration from traditional and contemporary American cuisine and the flavors of the Mediterranean rim countries such as Italy, Spain, France, Greece and Morocco. Founded by Chris Sullivan, Terry Ryan, Nancy Schneid and Alexander Sullivan, Carmel Café & Wine Bar is open for brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks, serving flatbreads, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches and small or large plate seafood, vegetarian, pasta and meat dinners. Carmel Café & Wine Bar also features a global wine list of more than 60 new and old world wine labels where patrons can enjoy their favorite wines by the bottle or by three, six and nine ounce pours by the glass.
Comfortable tables or booths, social community tables, bar seating, plush red sofas and modern club chairs are available, as well as a semi-private wine room that seats up to ten guests for intimate wine dinners and tastings. A full schedule of events such as wine tastings, four-course wine dinners, food and wine pairings are also offered to guests, in addition to special weekly events such as "Tuesday Trilogy" which includes three glasses of wine (a three ounce pour) that focus on one type of grape from three countries for $10 and "Wednesday Power Hour" from 5pm to 7pm where customers receive five wines for $5 each in six ounce pours and $5 flatbreads.

Tried to go there after work @ 5:30 with group from work on Monday, Feb. 25, and the place was closed up tight! Better have a back-up plan for your next group get together if you plan to meet there.
