Host a Kid for a Few Weeks this Summer!

Education First, a non-profit International exchange student company, will have three nationalities coming to Bradenton/Sarasota this summer. The kids are coming to improve their English skills and learn about America.

We need loving families to host them all. At this point we still need another 30 families be June 1. Everyone is welcome to apply: families, couples, single parents and retirees. You don't have to be a millionaire to host. Just have a warm, loving home.

Spain/France group will be here July 5-30. We have 76 kids and three chaperones in this group. Families can host one Spanish and one French student if they have room. The host family student will get 60 community service hours. This group is immersion and doesn't have to be taken to school. They have one field trip a week and host family teens can go with us. We are going to Airheads in Tampa, International Mall, Tervis Tumbler to make our own cups, Venice Beach for sharks teeth, and more.

Chinese group will be here August 2-17. We have 34 students and two to three chaperones. Families can host up to three of these students if they have the room. Host family teens will get 45 community service hours. This group goes to school 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at an EF course center. They spend nights and weekends with their host families. This is a great program for working families.

Host families provide the students a bed, three meals a day and transportation to the EF field trips bus stop or course center. Host families read student profiles and get to pick the student who will fit well with their family. English must be the primary language spoken in the home. The students come fully medically insured and bring their own spending money.
