Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Arts & Eats Restaurant and Gallery ArtWalk Dinner and Our First 2 Weeks

Our "soft" opening is going so well.  We're grateful for all the incredible encouragement and compliments we've received from guests over the past 2 weeks.

Everyone is LOVING the food, the service, the music, and our welcoming spirit.   We've had several spontaneous jams, since we leave instruments out for our guests to play if they feel the urge. We're having a lot of fun and hope you'll join us soon.

Mention this blog on Patch and receive a free dessert!  We have an early bird special from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. — 3 courses for only $20!  An amazing deal.  See the menu attached.

Donna also sold one mosaic piece already.  Wonderful!

We also received our beer and wine license yesterday and we're thrilled.  We have a carefully selected and affordable wine list from $5 a glass and up and a great selection of beers. The wine and beer menu is attached, as is our latest menu.

The hottest items?  Falafel, Indian Crepe and yes — the good old American burger. The French Onion Soup is like no other and the Thai Shrimp rocks! Jim makes potato "gaufrette" chips that are out of this world delicious.

This Friday is ArtWalk and we're featuring a "Blue Menu" to fit in with the ArtWalk theme of "A River in Blue" that celebrates the new Riverwalk opening.  We're offering a $20 prix fix meal of a Green Salad with Blue Cheese, Chicken and Basmati Rice with French Green Beans served with Blueberry Sauce, and a Blueberry Crostata (Italian tart).

We're also going to have two groups playing music, and Chef Jim is in both of them!  From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., hear Elephant in the Room in the backyard "Park" and from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., Studio Kitchen with Donna, Jim and friends.  It'll be a great night at Arts & Eats, so please join us and walk around our wonderful Village. See you soon!
