8 Host Families Needed For Chinese Students

Education First a non profit exchange student company is bringing 34 Chinese students ages 8 - 14 years old to the Bradenton / Sarasota area this January 25 to February 7, 2013 to learn about America and improve their English skills. The students stay with host families so they can see what life in an American family is like.

Host families must speak English and provide the student a bed, 3 meals a day and transportation to the course center for school. The students attend 4 hours of class room time each morning and spend the afternoons touring our area. So they are with EF staff from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Friday.

Host families are not paid for hosting a student but they will recieve discounts on future travel for your family with our tour division and if you have a high school student they will earn 30 community service hours toward Bright Futures.

Students bring their own spending money and are fully medically insured. Host families have 24 / 7 access to EF staff while the students are here. Once a family applies and is matched to a student they are allowed to email the student and get to know them before they arrive in America.

If this sounds like some thing your family would enjoy or you would like more info on our program please email Sherree at HSTAKID@aol.com
