Abducted Woman Raped in 16-Hour Ordeal

Two men grabbed a woman, threw her in a car and drove around Manatee and Sarasota counties, as they took turns raping her.

Detectives are searching for two men in a newer model white Honda who allegedly grabbed a woman walking along the 3600 block of 14th Street West, held her captive for 16 hours, and took turns raping her, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's report.

The men dropped her off at DeSoto Square Mall at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, across from the sheriff's office, this morning and drove off. The victim walked to Miller's Dutch Kitchen, where she called 9-1-1 to report the crime.

The woman was walking along the street at around 6 p.m. when a man driving a 4-door Honda stopped and called her over. As she approached the driver's side window a passenger in the car jumped out of the back seat wearing a ski mask and grabbed the woman by her shoulders and pulled her into the car.

The two men had at least one gun and pointed it at the victim several times as they drove around Manatee and Sarasota counties. They two men took turns getting into the back seat with the woman and sexually assaulting her.

The victim described the driver as a thin, light-skinned black man with no facial hair who probably was in his 20s. He wore a hoodie and black ski mask and had lines shaved into his eye brows.

She described the second man as a dark-skinned black man in his 20s, under 6-feet-tall, and obese. She said he was wearing a yellow shirt and shorts. She said both men were carrying hand guns.
