What's Open, Closed in Bradenton on Presidents Day?
Here is a look at some of the holiday closings in Bradenton for Presidents Day.
CLOSED
All City of Bradenton offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 18.
Manatee County Government offices will be closed.
Manatee County Schools are closed.
There will be no garbage collection for city residents Monday. If your household garbage is usually collected Monday it will instead get collected this Saturday, Feb. 16. Yard waste will be collected Feb. 21. There will be no change to recycling collection for city residents.
All trash, recycling and yard waste collections for residents of unincorporated Manatee will be postponed one day for unincorporated Manatee residents from Tuesday through Saturday.
The Fitness Center and Teen Room at G.T. Bray Recreation Center will be closed.
Central Library, the only county library normally open on Mondays, will be closed Feb. 18 and will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
There will be no U.S. Postal Service delivery.
OPEN
Manatee County Area Transit, the Anna Maria Island Trolley and the Longboat Key Trolley will operate normal daily routes.
Manatee County parks and beaches will be open to the public.
Manatee County and Buffalo Creek Golf Courses will be open.
G.T. Bray Skate Park will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
All of Manatee County's branch libraries operate Tuesday through Saturday and are therefore not affected by the Monday closure.
Manatee County’s publicly owned natural preserves will remain open.
