Vote Online for Dick Vitale, Philanthropist of the Year
The Lakewood Ranch resident is finalist for an important award, and the public has a chance to vote!
The Health Care Heroes awards competition recognizes finalists in the category of Philanthropist of the Year, with the winner selected by online voting.
One of this year's finalists is Dick Vitale, a long-time friend of All Children's Hospital as well as college basketball's top analyst and ambassador.
The Lakewood Ranch resident is on the board of directors of The V Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for cancer that is funding research and education programs at ACH, including the new Dick Vitale Pediatric Cancer Research Fellowship.

He holds an annual Dick Vitale Gala, which has raised millions over the past seven years. All Children's pediatric cancer program and Moffitt Cancer Center have been honored to be recipients of this highly successful event.
