Non-profits are getting creative this year to bring in the dough during the Giving Partner's 36-hour Giving Challenge, and Manatee Players are no different.
Realize Bradenton helped produce an Indiana Jones-style short movie to promote the Manatee Players’ own Raise the Curtain Campaign campaign.
The “Players of the Lost Ark” video released on Feb. 25 follows Indy and Sallah as they search for the mythical "Grand Curtain" to raise $40,000 for the Grand Curtain to complete the Manatee Performing Arts Center, which opens this March.
The 36-Hour Giving Challenge begins on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 a.m. and continues through Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m.
Last year’s Challenge raised an $2.4 million through 10,700 gifts to benefit the 109 participating nonprofits; this year’s event includes more than 270 organizations. This year, nonprofit organizations can also earn their share of $645,000 in grant incentives and a one-for-one matching support for new and increased gifts over the last challenge.
Realize Bradenton is an economic development non-profit that brings people together in downtown Bradenton to enjoy the community’s arts, culture, heritage, and sports.
Donations are 100% tax-deductible and can be made at www.givingpartnerchallenge.org.
