Great. I am part of the 53% who will vote for less government control over my life on November 6, 2012. I am a Refusenik who will not allow government to dictate to me how I must live my life. I refuse to be dependent on others, I refuse to feed at the public trough, I refuse to kowtow to the political elites, I refuse to listen to the government narratives, I refuse to take what the media feeds me as truth and finally I refuse to surrender my liberty.

A superfluous excrescence upon a proud mound of fatuity is not news.

Paige are you serious? I don't know about you but i'm a lot wealthier than I was when Bush the Lesser left office. I just saw a note that the Koch brothers worth has gone up from 34 to 62 billion during this same time. Makes me think that Obama is one lousy socialist. My comment on Romney was about the ignoring of all the benefits he had which put him in the position to succeed. Finally why don't you check Snopes and others about the student aid fairy tales. Bringing up this and college records which nobody asked before makes me think that is you who is showing his true colors, if you get my drift.

When the revolution in Mexico forced the Mormons to leave everything and return to the U S a special bill was passed that amounted to welfare. This gave George Romney a start and he went on to achieve success which made it possible for Mitt to attend the best schools while his wife. unlike mine, didn't have to work because as she said they would sell off from time time to some of the stock given to them by Mitt's dad. Mitt went on to do quite well and when his father died he gave the inheritance to the Mormon church. Now he tells us that he didn't inherit a thing and did it all on his own. Not seeing the start given his father or all the other benefits we enjoy makes him a hypocrite and Richard Swier a fool.

Sorry, Len, you're showing your true colors. Who cares if he gave his inheritance to the Mormon Church? He absolutely did make it on his own. Please tell me what Mr. Obama has done to make this country better the last four years, and please tell me why he won't release ANY college records, or even HOW he got the "aid" to go to college.

I found the talk interesting. More interesting was Mr. Swier's comments. I understood he spent years in uniform, though I don't know which branch. Well my experience in the service contradicted everything he said. For example, I surrendered some of my liberty, the government dictated how and where I lived and most critical, I was taught how much my comrades depended on me and I depended on them. This bond we all shared whether we were enlisted or wore eagles on our shoulders. In return, the government gave us certain benefits. Maybe he didn't receive them, but I sure welcomed them.

I can't understand why anyone in the middle class or lower class income could support Romney. By the way Mr. Far, Do your homework. The Obama administration has created 4 million jobs since he was in office. He saved General Motors. Every job bill He submitted to congress was ruled out by a simple majority. Just last week he
Tried to get a job bill passed by Congress for veterans coming back from the Iraq and Afghanistan And Not surprisingly the Republican Congress Filibuster that bill.
What the voters need to do is vote the republicans out of office. Their priority is get rid of Obama And they'll do that by sacrifice jobs for American people.

What happened the first two years when he had a Democrat majority in both houses? Why didn't he get a jobs bill passed then? And he didn't "save" General Motors, he saved the unions and created Government Motors. Ford survived without a bailout. What has his great pal Jeff Immelt from G.E. done to create jobs since Obama made him the head of his Jobs creation council. And talk about outsourcing! G.E. is at the head of class on that one. The left wants us to be a socialist nation and we can see what that has done to Europe. Wise up.

Dear Mr. D'Amato
Your language cannot hurt me. I certainly did respond to your comments. The standard reply from a liberal when they have no legitimate argument is to call the other person a racist.

Thank you Charles, I really appreciate the information. The most important thing that makes our country exceptional is our ability to engage in free speech. However there is no reason why we can't keep it civil. When I met you at the Romney rally I found you to be what I thought a "fair and balanced" guy. Thank you for giving me a little space to air my opinions.
