Veteran Fire Lieutenant Awarded Congressional Honor
The Career Service Award honors leadership, professionalism and commitment.

Bradenton Fire Lieutenant Tim Greer will be awarded the 13th Congressional Fire and Rescue/EMS Career Service Honor at a ceremony on Sept. 17.
Greer was nominated by the Bradenton Fire Department for the passion and responibility he has consistently show in carrying out his duties.
Congressman Vern Buchanan announced the award and ceremony, whch will be held at the Sarasota County Commission Chambers.
Greer is described as a role model among his peers who has dedicated 16 years of "reliable service and leadership" to his community.
