New Year’s Eve dinner at the CdZ Restaurant and Lounge will be a sumptuous six-course meal.

If celebrating New Year’s Eve in the lap of luxury is what you like, then you should spend the last moments of 2012 and the first of 2013 at the The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota.

The festivities kick off on New Year’s Eve with a sumptuous meal in the upscale hotel’s CdZ Restaurant & Lounge.

“It will be a six-course dinner experience which will also include a bottle of Dom Perignon for each couple,” said Liza Kubik, public relations manager. “And then playing from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. will be The Kevin Aland Quartet.”

The menu for the dinner will include an exquisite collection of culinary treats and will culminate with a champagne toast at midnight. Guests can choose to dine either inside or outside, and both areas will be able to enjoy panoramic bay and marina views.

On the following morning, The Ritz-Carlton Grand Ballroom will be hosting the annual New Year’s Day Brunch. This is not the brunch of your childhood Sundays—instead it will be full of luxurious fare like a sushi station, fresh and smoked seafoods, a carving station, made-to-order omelets and much more.

And for those who may have had a little too much fun the night before, there will be a Recovery Bar stocked with Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Bellinis and even antioxidant rich beverages to get after-party bodies back on track.

“The bar will have plenty of pomegranate juice and green tea, high in antioxidants, as well as coconut water--its high potassium content helps to hydrate the body fast and combat fatigue,” Kubik said. “There will also be Gatorade and Dr. Pepper, in case that’s your remedy of choice.”
