When Sheryl Crow played at a Tampa Bay concert last month, the
50-year-old singer/songwriter forgot some of the lyrics to her hit "Soak Up the Sun."
But she shurgged it off, telling the Taste of Pinellas crowd: "I'm 50. What can I say? My brain's gone to (expletive)."

But, according to a story in today's Huffington Post, Crow has announced that she is suffering from a benign brain tumor.
In an interview with a Las Vegas newspaper, Crow announced the results of recent testing she completed, in part, because of her recent episodes of memory loss. It is unclear at this time if Crow, who already survived a breast cancer scare in 2006, plans to have surgery to remove the tumor.
The nine-time Grammy winner is the mother of two adopted boys.
