It started out wet but there was no stopping the DeSoto Grand Parade. The beads were flying and the entertainment was unstoppable.

A deluge launched the parade, but soon enough sunny skies emerged. Parade participants were undaunted. Wet hair, wet clothes deep puddles all went ignored as they tossed out beads, waved to the crowd and even did a little dancing.

Upload your photos here and let us see what you saw. Afterall, Patch was in the parade, so we missed seeing most of the action/

We had so much fun and came home with all kinds of goodies! It was one of the best De Soto parades I've been to.

I was on the Manatee County Democratic Float and we handed out 15,000 American Flags to children and they really loved them so much ! The People were wonderful!
Everybody was so wet but they were out there for all of the Floats! Bradenton is such a great place to live! I have lived here 17 years and I wouldn't live any where else !

Manatee Veterinary Cllinic so loves Bradenton and the GREAT parade that guests were invited from EVERYWHERE. Not only were local clients, friends and associates on the front lawn of the Clinic to view the parade, but the group of 80 included people from Pennsylvania, Kansas, Illinois, Alabama and some Fort Myers residents that proclaim this parade is better than their Edison Light Parade!!
