Manatee County Foreclosure Stats: A Closer Look

Foreclosure listings activity and comparison for March and April 2011.

As reported by The Bradenton Herald in April, foreclosure activity for the first quarter of 2011 in Manatee County dropped by 55 percent from a year ago, according to RealtyTrac.

This significant drop in activity is attributed primarily to delays caused by improper and/or fraudulant foreclosure filings, practices and proceedures by lenders, servicers and their attorneys.

Below are Manatee county statistics on new foreclosures for the months of March and April 2011. (All property types)
