JetBlue's SRQ To LaGuardia Service Starts Monday

JetBlue Airways will have its first flight from SRQ Airport to LaGuardia Airport on Monday.

JetBlue's first flight from to LaGuardia International will take off Monday.

JetBlue will offer daily, non-stop service from SRQ to LGA with the first flight scheduled to arrive from New York at 4:32 p.m. and depart at 4:35 p.m. The flights last about three hours.

"This new service," said Rick Piccolo, CEO of the airport, "will help us make up for the , so we are utterly thrilled to welcome this added JetBlue service."

The New York-based airline already flies from Bradenton-Sarasota to John F. Kennedy International Airport.

JetBlue has added new time slots as well at LaGuardia and Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. JetBlue is also adding service to Tampa and Ft. Myers on the West Coast of Florida.
