Deputies: Man Stabbed at Attitudes Bar

Deputies found the stabbing victim in a fleeing red truck.

A man was allegedly stabbed in the parking lot at Attitudes Bar, 3601 14th St. W, early Saturday morning but when deputies arrived all they could see was a red truck fleeing the scene.

After a brief pursuit the truck was located and the stabbing victim, 44-year-old Toni Nedanovski, was located and taken to Blake Medical Center.

The first deputy to arrive at the scene Saturday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, observed a red pickup fleeing the parking lot in a reckless manner and advised other deputies converging on the area to look for it.

Deputies located the red truck going east on 30th Avenue toward 1st street still driving in a reckless manner, authorities said.

The sheriff's office said deputies attempted to stop the vehicle and it failed to yield from them and went south on 1st Street East.  The truck eventually stopped at the 100 block of 44th Avenue West.

The driver, 47-year-old James Abbott, was arrested.

Deputies said the passenger, Nedanovski, had obvious multiple stab wounds. Nedanovski was transported to Blake Medical and went into surgery immediately for his stab wounds, authorities said.

A second man, 30-year-old Matthew Hosfield, was transported to Manatee Memorial Hospital for an injury and was released.

Maybe if they made a law banning knives incidents like this would never happen! Knives kill - ban them all before it's too late!!

Matthew, I am a concealed weapons license holder, and avid firearms enthusiast. The previous comment was intended to exude sarcasm. Clearly I failed in my attempt at humor. Guess I better stick with my day job...lol

Notice all the players are still alive? That is the difference. Knives rarely kill, guns usually kill. Knives, you can fight back; guns, you don't stand a chance.

What an ignorant statement. I suspect you lean heavily to the left side of the political spectrum.

Leave the knives to the criminals and the guns to the citizens
