Bradenton Man Charged In Fatal Motorcycle Crash

A Bradenton man faces a failure to yield charge following a fatal crash early Saturday.
David A. Kohl, 47 of Sarasota, was pronounced dead by the medical examiner after a Chrysler van crashed into his Kawasaki 750 motorcycle at 15th Street East and 57th Avenue Drive East at 1:35 a.m. Saturday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The van, driven by Daniel Camgro, 33 of Bradenton, drove southbound on 15th Street East toward 57th Avenue Drive East in the left turn lane, attempting to turn left at an industrial and retail complex, but failed to yield to the motorcycle headed northbound on 15th Street East, according to Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle crashed into the right side of the van, overturning onto its left side, according to Highway Patrol.
Camgro is charged with failure to yield to oncoming traffic, according to Highway Patrol.
