Thomas Gallen joins Manatee County Rural Health Board of Directors
(Bradenton, FL)—Judge Thomas Gallen has joined the
Manatee County Rural Health Services Board of Directors. Judge Gallen is a Senior
Circuit Court Judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit.
He previously served as Chief Judge of the 12th
Judicial Circuit Court from 1998-2002. He was Circuit Judge of the 12th
Judicial Circuit from 1985-2002, serving in the Criminal Felony; Civil Trail;
Family Law; Juvenile and Probate/Guardianship divisions.
Judge Gallen also served as a member of the Florida
Senate from the 24th District from 1972-1978, and as a member of the
Florida House of Representatives from 1965-1972. He was a member of the firm of
Miller Gallen Kaklis and Venable Attorneys at Law, a general practice law firm
with emphasis in Real Property Litigation and Real Estate Law, from 1960-1985. He
holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business Administration from Florida State University.
Judge Gallen is also a decorated veteran, having
served in the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Beret) unit.

429,734 patient visits, and provided services to nearly 70 percent of all
residents in our service areas that live at or below the Federal Poverty Level.

accreditation from the Joint Commission, the
national accrediting organization for healthcare providers, for 14 consecutive
years.
