Bradenton Authors' Halloween-Themed Children’s Book Debuts
Bradenton, FL- Southwest Florida authors Ben Vanderneck and T.W. Vanderneck released their first children’s book in September, The Tale of the Circus Monkey & the Halloween Horseman.
Ben Vanderneck illustrated the book with colorful drawings of Ichabod, the circus monkey. “At a time when kids see so much that is computer-generated, from cartoons to video games, I wanted to illustrate our books in a much simpler way,” said Vanderneck. “I hope seeing the hand-drawn illustrations will motivate kids to want to draw as well.”
The Tale of the Circus Monkey & The Halloween Horseman is a terrific seasonal book for children to get into the Halloween spirit. Kids will have a great time following the antics of Ichabod on his Halloween adventures.
The Tale of the Circus Monkey & The Halloween Horseman is available at www.amazon.com/author/benjaminandtwvanderneck. Locally, Ben & T.W. Vanderneck will have signed books available on October 20th and 21st from 9am to 5pm at the Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival, 5500 CR 675, Bradenton, FL 34211.
T.W. Vanderneck also published her first novel in June of 2012. The fictional story chronicles a family's struggle with dementia. Details on The Risk of a Fall can be found at www.twvanderneck.com.
