Swing batta batta....swing!

Manatee Twisters 10 & Under competitive softball team is holding their second annual Pros vs. Girls Charity Softball game Sunday, February 17th at State College of Florida Softball Field, from 4-7 p.m. in Bradenton. 

This event will feature a friendly and fun softball game featuring current major and minor league players, and our very own Manatee Twisters03 10 year old girls.  Some of the pros in the lineup are Jose Bautista, the two time American League homerun leader and All Star from the Toronto Blue Jays, and his teammate, first baseman Edwin Encarnacion.  Joining them, from the Pittsburgh Pirates is Gift Ngoepe, Victor Black, Ryan Beckman, Logan Pevny, Lance Breedlove, Jon Schwind, Rinku, Singh and more Pirate major league players to be confirmed... 

All proceeds will support two wonderful women's charities: Manatee Twisters 10 & under competitive softball team and the Women's Resource Center of Manatee.  Both organizations strive to promote women and young girls to be positive, strong and independent.  

Tickets for this event are $3 and can be bought in advance through us or on game day at the gate.  We will also be collecting gently used women’s clothing for the Women’s Resource Center’s Unique Boutique, so look for the donation boxes around the ballpark.  There will also be as a silent auction, ballpark fare, BBQ and refreshments.
