Join the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, August 21st from 9am-4pm at The 2012 Small Business Development Expo offered to our business community. This Expo is tailored to any business interested in helping improve their business operations. The AMI Chamber of Commerce is proud to be a provider of this opportunity to help our business community grow and prosper. We will present you with many examples of how industry leaders reach their business goals. There will be informative presentations designed to help our local businesses by providing keynote speakers who specialize in their businesses on topics such as:
1.) Utilizing Free & Inexpensive Technologies - presented by Barry Grooms of ReMax Alliance Group
2.) Building Effective Business Operations - presented by Attorney Michael Magidson of Blalock Walters
3.) Acquiring Funding to Start or Grow Your Business -
presented by Sherod Halliburton of Manatee Community Federal Credit Union
4.) Understanding the Commercial Loan Process - presented by Jonathan Schneider of BB&T
Keynote speakers will provide excellent information on the topics they are discussing based on long standing experience. The EXPO includes business introductions, breakout sessions and networking opportunities. Businesses will also showcase what they can do to help you.
Tickets to the Expo for attendees will be $25 and includes a continental breakfast, lunch and an after-hours event. When keynote speakers are through with their discussion they will assist conference attendees with finding additional help by pointing out business vendors in these key topics of discussion. Near the end of the day, there will be breakout sessions where attendees can ask questions to gain additional information they need on any topics discussed.
